IMPORTANT: We are NOT considered as school; So even if schools go virtual, we will stay open as long as it is safe and businesses are not shut down by the state.
- Upon arrival for class - please do not enter the building more than 5 minutes before your scheduled class time.
- When you enter - please use the designated entrance for your dance room; Pink Studio will be the MAIN entrance and Teal Studio will be the door at the top of the handicap ramp. If you have a private in the Yellow Studio - please use the main entrance.
- Everyone entering the building including staff, dancers and observers MUSTwear a mask and be temp-checked. If your temperature is 100.4 or higher you will be sent home.
- If there is not a staff member present when you arrive, please wait until they return. DO NOT enter without your temperature being cleared.
- All observers must sign a visitor's log that will have 3 questions that must be answered "NO" - in order to stay at the studio.
- Anyone that has traveled to any of the states on the current NY quarantine list - MUST be quarantined for 14 days before returning to TPDC.
- Dancers and teachers will wear their mask until they enter their dance room. At that point they may remove their mask. Teachers will wear masks the majority of class and only take breaks when they are distanced from dancers. Students will keep masks with them in class and wear them as needed when they can not maintain social distance.
- Anything the dancer brings to class MUST fit into cubbies that are now located in the dance rooms.
- If a dancer leaves the dance room at any time, they must put their mask on.
- Only parents of dancers under the age of 7 will be allowed to stay and observe class - and must wear a mask in the studio. Only one parent is allowed and NO siblings will be allowed to stay.
- If your dancer is 7 or older, you must be given prior permission to stay and observe - which needs to be requested by email 24 hours before the start of the class.
- The dance floors are marked with X's to make sure dancers stay 6 feet apart while in class. If there is movement across the floor, the teacher will give specific instructions to the dancers to make sure they stay socially distant.
- Teachers will not touch dancers to make corrections, and if they need to come within 6 feet of a dancer, they will put their mask on.
- Water Fountain is shut OFF. Please bring your own water bottle (Water WILL be available to purchase).
- The Kitchen will be used as a waiting room - as needed.
- Limited Snacks Will Be Available For Purchase. Any snacks that dancers bring must fit in their dance bags.
